On March 29th, the third general meeting of the Beijing Food and Drug Safety Enterprise Union(BFDS), as well as the first meeting of the board of directors and the first meeting of the supervisory board, were successfully held. The conference held the third general election, and Ms. Julie Gao, the President of Leadingpharm, was elected as a member of the third council of BFDS.
 

Professor Mao Zhenbin, the candidate for the president of FDSA and former first level inspector of the Science and Technology and International Cooperation Department of NMPA, delivered the opening speech. Professor Mao Zhenbin first congratulated BFDS on the smooth convening of the new conference. He pointed out that as the NPC & CPPCC have just concluded, BFDS has welcomed its third congress, which is commendable. BFDS should have a political stance, based in Beijing, and radiate throughout the country. Professor Mao Zhenbin emphasized that BFDS and FDSA are a family, and the next step should be to closely cooperate, form a joint force, and work together to create two new business cards for the food and drug industry, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the industry.
 

Ms. Lv Yanni, the newly elected president, reviewed the outstanding contributions made by the first two sessions of the Council and leadership team of BFDS in her inauguration speech. She expressed sincere gratitude to the leaders who have always cared about and supported the work of BFDS, and further proposed that the new leadership team of the Council of the Beijing Alliance should fulfill its own responsibilities, serve member units well, lead industry development well, and inherit innovative advantages. She emphasized that only by doing practical work can there be achievements, live up to the trust, and make new contributions to the modernization of the capital's food and drug safety governance capacity!
